Essential Job Duties | The purpose of this postdoc is to develop bacterial strains that can express milligram quantities of formate dehydrogenase and carbonic anhydrase for a collaborative project focusing on the immobilization of these gas-converting enzymes on surfaces for carbon dioxide remediation purposes. Additionally, the competitive candidate will be involved in work to metabolically engineer E. coli to convert the produced formate into value-added products. Duties and Responsibilities include:
